Gold bricks are what you can use to build cool things. It does this automatically, which makes it really cool! You get gold bricks whenever you complete a level, get True Jedi status, complete a minikit, or complete a bounty hunter mission.
Power bricks are much different. You unlock 1 power brick for each level. Visit the bar to buy power bricks. Power bricks give you lots of cool abilities, like score x 8 or extra hearts.
